A brand new 2016 Christmas rock n roll track has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the key purpose of bringing attention and exposure for the Phuket charities and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket site .

The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks genre is a unique up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then looking forward to the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used session musicians to studio record the track durring a 6 week period. The track includes 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States as a result of Mark wanted the very best outcome and quality. The track ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The key goal of studio recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day website as we can and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be kind enough to contribute to at least one or any of the Phuket island charities, and to also download the track.
One other main goal is to have enough downloads of the song to fund and create a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, that will offer free classes and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the area’s colleges and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to market his track Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own particular experiences while he was residing in Patong back in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. As with ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to simply help including a Thailand Accommodation and cheap flights to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
