Uncover the Ultimate Destiny Preview

Without a doubt most significant games of the year’s E3 was Destiny, the first new IP from Bungie in over a decade. No one knew what to expect naturally we all waited lined up to go in Bungie’s private theater. destiny lfg was showered with swag like T-shirts and stickers but the three hour wait still looked like forever. You know what? It turned out totally worth every penny. Bungie’s Destiny will probably blow our socks off when it gets released the coming year, and I first can’t wait to start out the action as quickly as possible.

Destiny is nearly like a first person shooter/ MMO. It isn’t really a real MMO though since there are limitations to what number of players are in one area but basically you won’t be alone. It’s fair to help make the comparison that Destiny plays strikingly similarly to Halo, Bungie’s perhaps most obviously work- just the way the characters move, interact and appearance harkens returning to the glory era of Halo: Combat Evolved.

As the demo we had been shown was exactly the same one from Sony’s press conference, the Bungie team made sure our experience would be a little bit different. They interacted differently while they unquestionably demo, and demonstrated the vast environment where Destiny’s characters can play. What Destiny really gets right is the sense of atmosphere: it genuinely seems like an income, breathing web. This might be the greatest compliment you can make to some massive multiplayer game like this one.

Along with the gorgeous environment, the gameplay is also a beauty queen. Again, if you’re familiar with Halo, you are certain to feel at home with Destiny. The grenades again seem like unique tools of destruction, the guns are of course very original but also there are the Guardians’ (the characters you play as) special abilities. Inside the demo we got to consider, the Bungie play tester jumped up as they unleashed a robust Dragon Ball Z like fireball while on an enemy tank. Needless to say, it absolutely was very pretty.

While we’re talking about pretty things, the game looks great. The planet usually draw you along with vivid colors and impressive effects. The character models look beautiful and in what way they talk with the world seemed very seamless. Just about the most impressive things in the demo was when a massive enemy flagship descended into the world’s atmosphere. You could begin to see the wind rushing round the characters and also the level. Destiny will surely push the current generation of consoles as well as result in the new PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sweat somewhat.

It’s interesting to see Bungie finally get something new to help. I know these were delighted to stretch their creative genius with a new franchise. It looks like they’ve made quite the commitment with Activision though; Bungie will probably be focusing on Destiny for at least four titles. We’ll find out if people will obtain a little exhausted together with the franchise on the other hand seriously doubt it. Bungie seems determined to keep updating the game and deliver a living breathing world.
