High Quality Solid Timber
At Buywood Furniture we use good quality, recycled solid timber from sustainable sources to create unique, timeless furniture pieces. Once built, our timber pieces undergo an extensive sanding and polishing process by skilled polishers. As each bit of furnishings are customized at our Alderly workshop, any one of our furniture designs could be customized with all the good quality timber of your choosing.
Custom Made Furniture
Our specialty at Buywood is creating customized pieces to accommodate the complete needs of our own clients. Individuals our team enjoy meeting customers personally with a one-to-one basis to establish the requirements and ensure that the solid timber furniture they commission is an excellent fit for their home. Lee Kenny, owner of Buywood Furniture hand sketches all designs created by the Buywood team, and oversees each design from initial drawings to final polishing. If you’ve been involved with designing your item, you’ll be invited to our Alderly workshop to confirm its progress, and our experienced team will help you with installing the piece at home.
Four Generations Strong
Lee Kenny is a 4th generation furniture maker who works across all of the custom furniture created by the Buywood team. He prides himself with a traditional method of furniture making, which decelerates the development process and utilises traditional joinery techniques to create pieces that work for a lifetime. These days when the way forward for Australia’s manufacturing industry is uncertain, Buywood Furniture is proud to have been Australian made and Australian owned for four generations of craftsmen.
