I not really know when I first got word of song of prayer. I do know which i purchased it in March 2009 since i wrote the date inside the cover.
Once i attempted to make out the print, however, I merely cannot understand it. The perception of writing was perplexing. The minds it contained baffled me. I’d never encountered such teachings. I wasn’t ready correctly and quickly set it up aside.
Then, a dear friend suggested that people form a study group to function on the Course. I believe he was only as bewildered because of it as I was. But his suggestion was wise. He knew we could do together might know about wasn’t capable of singing alone.
So a small number of us met the very first time in July 2009. As well meeting, we attempted to read a few pages in the Text — which forms the program combined with the Workbook for young students as well as the Manual for Teachers. What we read in that first meeting made little sense to us. It left us frustrated.
Somehow — and that i don’t remember how — we made a decision to turn instead to the Workbook for young students, having its 365 daily lessons. We have to have already been divinely inspired on this decision, because it worked for us and possesses continued to function since.
Now, over a couple of years later, we are well to the Workbook to get a second time. The daily lessons and also the written text now make perfect sense. I now enjoy doing the teachings every day after you have my first walk. I look forward to taking the teachings in the lessons into meditation where I will discuss these with my spirit guides. I look forward to the weekly study group meetings where we review and discuss the teachings that people done individually throughout the week.
ACIM has changed my understanding of the entire world, and that i have grown to be focused on it. The analysis group meetings normally leave me in a condition of bliss, because ACIM is helping me remember everything I knew when still in spirit but forgot after i drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.
Here’s one of them of how the program changed my understanding of the entire world: I did before feel that this physical world is real which is made by God, nature, and other forces external in my experience. I now are aware that I have been previously tricked by my five senses into believing our planet is real. I now are aware that it absolutely was I who made the form of world around me and all of my experiences inside it. A few things i see “out there” is absolutely only a projection of what is occurring during my own mind. This physical world can be an illusion, a hologram by which I will play and learn. None of it is real — I got all up!
Thus, We are in charge of the level of world around me and all sorts of my experiences inside it. I’m not a sufferer of life’s circumstances in the end. Most people are not abusing me. God just isn’t punishing me. a few things i see, I experience a few things i experience, and that i feel a few things i feel since i choose to do so during my own mind.
There’s no part of going “out there” to switch any particular item on the planet. You can’t control, manipulate, or fix it. This could be like visiting a theatre and stomping as much as tear down the screen as you do not like the show you’re watching.
The only method to change any particular item on the screen is to find the projector in the rear of the theater and modify the video. The best way to change any particular item “out there” on the planet would be to change what’s “in here” in your own mind. Change your beliefs. Stop judging and condemning. Set out to practice unconditional love and acceptance. When you do that, the entire world the truth is “out there” are going to change. So long as will likely be held in unhappiness, pain, and suffering.
