2016 Xmas Rock song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Xmas rock tune has been written, created and then recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main goal of providing awareness and exposure for the Phuket charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket site .

The songs title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs style is a distinctive up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and partially studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then looking forward to the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used session players to studio record the song over a 6 week period. The songs consists of 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the United States because of Mark wanted the most effective result and quality. The music is currently ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day web site that we can and then we hope in-turn they will be kind enough to contribute to one or all the Phuket island charities, and to also download the track.
One other absolute goal is to get enough downloads of the tune to fund and setup a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that will present free classes and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to market his track Tsunami Day which was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was residing in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous methods to greatly help including a Phuket Hotel and budget flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
