The Way To Use WordPress On The Run Through Mobile Devices

I recall, some time ago, reading an article by way of a prominent blogger and SEO expert about “mobile blogging”. He had a “blogging box” which allowed him to blog wherever he was (which I thought was obviously a bit stupid and pretentious). It included searching for camera, a laptop having a 3G modem, a notepad and pen, and various other equipment. The complete lot nearly easily fit in a suitcase.

Thankfully, things have progressed a little bit, so we will have WordPress apps for iPhone/iPad and Android. Both apps are compatible with an increase of or fewer recent versions of WordPress. With that being said, make sure you check which form of WordPress you need to be running as a way to access your dashboard via mobile.

Blogging vs Microblogging

Obviously, your main limitation when utilizing a phone for blogging is always that things are all a small bit more of a pain. You cannot type as rapidly, upload as many pictures, format at the same time, or perform few advanced things. That can be done just about anything you need, yet it’s a little bit more cumbersome.

That being said, the way forward is clearly microblogging. By microblogging I do not mean a twitter-esque update. I simply mean a bare-bones post, with a picture plus some commentary that you just regarded as you were from the laptop plus a wi-fi connection.

What this lets you do, amongst other pursuits, is live-blog events and items that happen. In the event you spot something exciting, you can have a photo or a video of computer and hang it on the blog before you go back home. If you’re in the business of breaking news, this is often invaluable.
